Farm well dries up for first time since 1933 in Clark County, Missouri

National Weather Service spotters reported that the well on their farm went dry on July 7, 2012. This is the first time since 1933 that the well has dried up. They are located in northern Clark County, Missouri, near the Missouri-Iowa state border, or about 8 miles west-southwest of Farmington, Iowa.
