The Monterey Peninsula Water Management District offered free water-saving devices and fixtures during “Drought Days Drive-Thru” events, held four times from Nov. 24 through Dec. 6. Members of the public were invited to pick up a water conservation kit for homes and businesses, containing leak detection kits, nozzles, faucet aerators, dish scrapers and other water-saving devices.
