Governor Martinez of New Mexico gave the opening remarks at the Western Governors’ Drought Forum in Santa Fe on Jan. 28. Some of the topics up for discussion were drought’s effects on agriculture, economic development and tourism. Representatives from Arizona, Colorado, Utah and Oregon will also participate in the forum.
