California Gov. Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency in 14 counties dealing with wildfires to provide access to additional firefighting resources. The 14 counties were Butte, El Dorado, Humboldt, Lake, Madera, Napa, Nevada, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Diego, Shasta, Solano, Tulare, Tuolumne, and Yolo.
