Beaufort County, SC

Start Date: 7/11/2016 - End Date: 7/11/2016
We need rain. This past week we received only 0.13". It has been extremely hot with high heat indices well into the triple digits. A careful eye on gardens and lawns is necessary with watering at appropriate times and utilizing efficiency both in consumption and timely effectiveness for the vegetation. Lagoons are now noticeably lower. It has been approximately a 3-week period of constant, extreme heat which we haven't seen for about three or four years. There is some chance for rain later this week. CoCoRaHS Report from Station #Bluffton 6.2 WNW on 7/11/2016
