A fast-moving wildfire burning in the unincorporated Cherry Valley and Banning area destroyed a small building and forced the evacuation of at least 200 homes in Riverside County. The 25-feet tall wall of flame being pushed by wind gusting to about 20 mph and consuming drought-dried fuels. More than 300 firefighters and a dozen plus aircraft were fighting the blaze.
