Many of Michigan’s dry beans were smaller than normal, due to a lack of rain during the growing season, stated Brad Ackerman with Ackerman Marketing. White mold pressure was minimal. He thought Michigan’s yield would be better than that of the Dakotas because they received too much rain further west.
