Mansfield selectmen eased restrictions on outdoor watering, lifting the ban on all outdoor irrigation, in favor of watering Monday through Thursday. Restrictions were further amended to permit watering seven days a week, according to an even-odd schedule. Attleboro Sun Chronicle (Mass.), May 20, 2017 All outdoor water use was banned in Mansfield, effective Oct. 1 until further notice after the selectmen approved Phase 4 restrictions on Sept. 28. State officials have also recommended a prohibition on outdoor watering as much of Southeastern Massachusetts remained in a drought warning area. Neighboring Foxboro adopted similar restrictions on Sept. 23. Attleboro Sun Chronicle (Mass.), Sept. 30, 2016
