Start Date: 3/6/2017 - End Date: 3/19/2017
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources began stocking trout two weeks earlier than usual because the dry, warm winter weather hastened fish growth while dry conditions reduced water flow through hatcheries. The stocked streams include Cooper Creek, in Union County; Tallulah River, in Rabun County; Dicks Creek, in Lumpkin County; Holly Creek in Murray County; and Johns Creek, in Floyd County.
