Trees, pasture grass dying in Alachua County, Florida

Grass is all but dead in pastures, with topsoil silt blowing off. Lost 5 dogwood trees, and several cedar trees in the pastures. Afraid more than usual of potential fire as those cedars will ignite quickly and burn HOT near the house. Sprinklers at night are keeping other vegetation from dying around the yard.
