Drought has cut hay production to 25% of normal. Pastures are reduced by 60% now and if drought continues cows will have to be sold or sent elsewhere for pasture. Income loss at this point is unknown but is looking to be large. Expenses for water and pasture are rising. From Jones County, South Dakota, on July 11, 2017
