CATEGORIES:
Plants & Wildlife
Society & Public Health
AFFECTED AREAS:
Cochise County, AZ
Pima County, AZ
Santa Cruz County, AZ

Start Date: 2/8/2018 -
Given the number of rabies cases in southern Arizona among foxes in recent months, pet owners were warned to get their pets vaccinated and not to feed wildlife. The drought severity makes county officials anticipate an increase in wildlife-human interaction, which may pose a threat to human health. Tucson News Now (Ariz.), Feb. 8, 2018
