Wildflowers not poised for great bloom in California's Anza-Borrego Desert State Park
2/13/2018 7:18:26 PM

CATEGORIES:
Plants & Wildlife
AFFECTED AREAS:
San Diego County, CA

Start Date: 2/13/2018 -
Some flowers were blooming at Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, but even another half-inch of rain would do wonders, according to Betsy Knaak, executive director of the Anza-Borrego Desert Natural History Assn. Less than an inch of rain has fallen in Borrego Springs since the start of the year, compared to last year when around 4 ½ inches fell in January and February.
