Fire restrictions took effect statewide in Nevada on May 30, due to drought conditions, dense, dry vegetation and other factors. The restrictions were enacted by the Nevada Division of Forestry, Bureau of Land Management and Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest and will remain in effect until further notice.
