The California Department of Fish and Wildlife moved 1.1 million juvenile, fall-run Chinook salmon from the Iron Gate Fish Hatchery in Siskiyou County, due to drought and warm, low flows in the Klamath River. The fish were taken to the Trinity River Hatchery.
