The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced $15 million in drought relief for Klamath Basin growers who agree to reduce their irrigation demand so the water can be used for other purposes. The Bureau of Reclamation also has a $15 million program for the basin, but the Klamath Water Users Association says more financial assistance is still needed.
