Central Indiana has set a new historical low for rainfall with records dating back to 1871 as little rain has fallen since July 18, although conditions were much wetter prior to mid-July. In Westfield, Grand Park has begun consolidating their ponds and irrigating its sports fields, but has enough for the next month.
