There have been numerous accounts of mountain lions, raccoons and coyotes in urban neighborhoods as the creatures roam in search of food and water. Wildfires may also be contributing to the animals moving into residential areas.
And technology, such as people’s Ring doorbells, is allowing us to see these incidents whereas they might have gone unnoticed before.
