Shasta Lake was one of the many cities that learned that allocations from the Central Valley Project would be limited in 2022 and asked its customers to reduce water use and outdoor watering to conserve water.
The Bella Vista Water District, serving Redding, Bella Vista and Palo Cedro, already asked its customers to reduce water use by 40%.
