To conserve water, the cities of Roy, South Ogden and Riverdale have closed their splash pads for the summer, but the larger public pools remain open. Some city-owned green spaces in Roy will also receive less water this summer. Similarly, in Ogden, city parks will be watered less than normal.
Residents are limited to watering once weekly, so cities aimed to show that they were also conserving.
