Crook County officials have declared a drought, due to record low streamflows and reservoir storage levels, despite near normal snowpack in the Ochocos. Prineville Reservoir was at just 11% capacity, while Ochoco Reservoir was at 10%. A farmer had to haul water to his livestock because the spring was not flowing.
