In an effort to get compliance with water restrictions since July 5, Travis County Water Control and Improvement District No. 17 shut off water to 232 water customers in the Steiner Ranch community. There were initially more than 1,900 water customers that were thought to be responsible for nearly 9 million gallons of water waste weekly.
