Start Date: 9/4/2024 -  
The S.C. Drought Response Committee changed the drought status for seven counties from incipient to moderate drought, while leaving two counties in incipient drought. Abbeville, Anderson, Edgefield, McCormick, Oconee and Pickens were in moderate drought.
