The S.C. Drought Response Committee changed the drought status for seven counties from incipient to moderate drought, while leaving two counties in incipient drought. Abbeville, Anderson, Edgefield, McCormick, Oconee and Pickens were in moderate drought. Laurens and Greenwood stayed at the incipient drought level and Aiken went from normal status to incipient drought.
