The Roza Irrigation District stopped diverting water temporarily on Tuesday, May 20, for a drought-related shutdown.
Roza was notified by the Bureau of Reclamation that water rationing would start on May 20 and continue for 7 to 13 days. Reclamation said this measure would free up roughly 7,000 to 13,000 acre feet to use during the coming irrigation season.
