Northern Virginia and the Shenandoah region remained in a drought watch, according to the Department of Environmental Quality. The drought watch advisory included the Northern Virginia regions, which includes Arlington, Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, and Prince William counties, and the Shenandoah region, which encompasses Augusta, Clarke, Frederick, Page, Rockingham, Shenandoah, and Warren counties.
