Dry weather has led some central Illinois counties and communities to ban outdoor burning. Some of these were Coles County, Christian County and the communities of Athens (Menard Co.), Decatur (Macon Co.), Chatham (Sangamon Co.), Sherman (Sangamon Co.), and Windsor (Shelby Co.).
