Mandatory water restrictions were in effect in Lebanon as extreme drought gripped the area, reducing the flow of the Mascoma River. Additional water restrictions took effect on Monday, Sept. 15, prohibiting the use of city water for swimming pool filling and lawn watering via automated sprinkler systems.
