The Dorena-Hickman Ferry, connecting Dorena, Missouri and Hickman, Kentucky ceased to operate due to low water levels on September 4 and remained closed through the month. The Dorena-Hickman Ferry Facebook page indicated that the ferry was still not in operation through Oct. 2.
